MyChron 5S GPS Lap Timer & Water Temperature Sensor
The latest version of the AiM Mychron 5S has landed. Our game-changing datalogger has been specifically designed for Kart racing whether you're on a scaled-down circuit or a professional full-sized motorsport circuit for thrill-seekers and competitive races this is the datalogger for you.
The GPS frequency has improved from 10 to 25Hz and the precision and accuracy have been improved from about 5 feet to 2.
With integrated GPS this system takes advantage of our global track database, to automatically understand which track you're at. When you get to the track switch on your MyChron 5S and it will determine its position, identify the track and start loading start/finish line coordinates. Even the predictive time is much more reliable thanks to the improved GPS you will know the exact time gap vs, your best lap.
The MyChron 5S Kart lap timer features a high-resolution graphical display with built-in 25Hz GPS to sample and record lap times. The MyChron 5S combined with a choice of water temperature sensor and RPM connection makes it the ultimate karting lap timer.
The MyChron 5S logs and stores speed, lap times (including split and predictive), gear, temperature, RPM as well as data from the optional sensors when connected to the MyChron Expansion Box, such as throttle position sensors, brake position and pressure sensors, steering angle sensors and the LCU-One Lambda Controller and SmaryCam which are available in our accessories tab.
With this kit choose between an M5 or M10 Water Temperature Sensor only one supplied.
The MyChron 5S has seven display colours to choose from. This will enable you to have a clear view and easily read numerical readouts on the track such as your lap times and lap number, RPM and one temperature value. When your back at the paddock you can scroll through all your data on the display.
The Nylon chassis and metallic pushbuttons guarantee even more resistance to shock and water, while the anti-scratch non-reflecting polycarbonate screen and wider display offer great readability.
The MyChron 5S also features an ambient light sensor providing optimum viewing in diverse lighting conditions, the display brightness is automatically adjusted according to the environment light.
Shift Light & Alarm LEDs
The MyChron 5S features five RGB LED shift lights that can be configured for each gear. You can choose the colour and value threshold for the activation. Or configure them to show your best lap time/split time, monitor the RPM level.
The alarm LEDs are also easily configurable to the engine parameters you require, such as exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and water temperature.
There are various options for you to configure your display for whatever suits your viewing. You can do this via the software or the device.
The MyChron 5S has built-in Wi-Fi which enables you to download your data and customise advanced GPS coordinates for split times via Race Studio 3.
You can assign a password so you can securely protect your data.
Rechargeable Lithium Battery
The MyChron 5S is powered by a detachable rechargeable lithium battery. The battery life lasts approximately 10 hours of use.

These are only some of the items that can be added to our MyChron 5S for incrementing the performance and the data acquired.
Delivery – Effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted, and in any event within the time stipulated. Customer will receive goods in duration 2-5 days upon payment confirmed, Non Malaysia address will be depends on custom clearance of particular country. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In such case, we may inform you of the reason of the delay and will provide updates of the delivery as soon as we can.
The Saturday delivery service starts from 9:00am till 1:00pm. Orders must be placed before 5:00pm on Friday and all items must be in stock to qualify for delivery on the coming Saturday.
Returns – Goods which are proved to be unsuitable may be returned for refund, credit or exchange if they are returned to ourselves within 14 days of receipt. Returned goods are subject to the following conditions:
- Items are returned with carriage paid but the customer.
- Items are received in good condition to be able to resell.
- Items and original packing of the goods should be returned unused in their original condition in order to secure a refund. (We reserve the right to levy a charge to replace product packaging which is damaged or defected).
- Any items which have been specially ordered for you or manufactured to your specifications will not be refunded.
- Item returns are to be accompanied by the sender’s name and address, account number, order invoice number (which are found on the invoice), and reason for return. Please complete the relevant returns form.
- Items returned needs to have a written confirmation before sending the items back to us.
- We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage or relevant documents to be able to track the parcel, you may require it on the event of a claim with your carrier.

Shortages & Damage – Please advise our Customer Service Department of any problems with shortages or carrier damage within 5 working days of receipt. We regret that beyond this time, due to circumstances beyond our control we may be unable to process your claim.
Special Order – On any special order of items that we do not stock, we reserve the right to charge a full payment including freight charges order value to the customer’s credit/debit card, which is non-returnable in the event of cancellation, based upon the customer’s implicit instructions to order the goods on their behalf.
